The Difference IncludEd Conference 2023
The Difference IncludEd Conference returns on 14 January 2023 at the UCL Institute of Education, bringing together a stellar line-up of speakers with an opening keynote from author and broadcaster Lemn Sissay OBE.
The conference will explore the key question: How can we become more inclusive?
IncludEd is the education conference for inclusion in schools. It connects
school leaders and colleagues from mainstream and alternative provision to share and shape the very best of inclusion research and practice.
Primary Schools: Applications to the Teacher Development Fund are now open
The Paul Hamlyn Foundation (PHF) will make around six grants of up to £150,000 to partnerships of arts/cultural organisations and primary schools who’ll then work together for two academic years. The purpose of the Teacher Development Fund is to support delivery of effective and sustainable arts-based teaching and learning opportunities in the primary classroom, and to embed learning through the arts in the curriculum. It aims to do this by helping teachers and school leaders develop the necessary skills, knowledge, confidence and experience.

Early Years, Infant, Primary and Secondary schools: Local Schools Nature Grants Scheme
The Local Schools Nature Grants Scheme allows Early Years, Infant, Primary and Secondary school and settings in England, Scotland and Wales to apply for £500 worth of outdoor resources and a two-hour training session, thanks to the People's Postcode Lottery. LTL is looking for settings whose learners are passionate about making environmental improvements for the benefit of their pupils, staff and the community. Applicants must be employed by the school.
