Inspire Partnership CEO and hub Senior Partner Rob Carpenter celebrates the impact curriculum design can have in a school, as the first interviewee for a new podcast which aims to help teachers and school leaders share insights and experience.
He says Inspire have used reference groups and built in time for collaboration to improve teacher agency so that they can relaunch their curriculum with a greater focus on Global Citizenship that helps their students connect more deeply with the world and local community.
Rob also discusses the implications of Ofsted’s new school inspection framework and says schools can now go back to important questions like: what it is we believe education should be for? What are our key principles for learning design? And how do we bring that to life in a classroom?
