Research Opportunities for Primary Schools

There are two exciting opportunities for primary schools to participate in research projects with the Education Endowment Foundation and the Behavioural Insights Team:

1. Tips by Text

Tips by Text is an EEF-funded project aiming to improve Reception pupils’ literacy, language, numeracy and socio-emotional skills by sending parents/carers text messages with simple tips and activities they can do with their child at home.

In a large-scale US study, the intervention improved children's literacy skills by the equivalent of two months' additional progress.

To be eligible for this trial, schools must be located in one of the following regions:

2. One Step Ahead

Working with the Behavioural Insights Team is recommended by a Challenge Partners school:

“High quality materials and resources that were expertly delivered and recognised constraints. Concise and informative with relevant examples to inform educational practice.” (The Compton School)
