Candice Lott

Candice is the Owner and Founder of We Are The Digital Type, which is a digital training and
recruitment start up that has a focus on social mobility. Candice cares deeply about
combatting social injustice, having come from a working class background and being the
first in her family to study for a degree.

Before starting her own business, Candice was a strategic senior digital leader for some of
the biggest consumer brands in the UK, including Nando’s, Greene King and Compare The
Market. Candice is also a qualified Media teacher where she taught for two years in a school
in a deprived area.

Candice brings real life experience of someone who has faced social injustice to the board of
trustees.
