Jane I’Anson

Head of Partnership Reach and Experience
Jane joined Challenge Partners in September 2024. Jane leads our school and trust partnerships strategy as we continue our exciting progress towards working with 500,000 students per year by 2027. Jane also focuses on ensuring high quality partner experience for schools and trusts.
Jane was an English teacher in secondary schools in Bradford and Leeds before qualifying as an Advanced Skills Teacher and leading teaching and learning and literacy in a multi academy trust. She then carried out two senior leadership roles in large secondary schools, leading on Pupil Premium, teacher development, teaching and learning, and maths and English among other responsibilities.
Jane went on to lead school and trust partnerships at national education charities working towards social justice including Teach First and Ambition Institute. Jane is also a trustee and sits on the standards and curriculum committee at Brigshaw Learning Partnership, a multi academy trust near Leeds.
Jane is based in West Yorkshire and brings her experience of school and partnership leadership in some of our most deprived and underserved communities to Challenge Partners. Jane is passionate about maximising the opportunities Challenge Partners can offer to our existing partners, new partner schools and trusts and to currently underserved regions in the Midlands and the North.
