External Opportunities round-up - March

We are sent a range of opportunities from our external partners and contacts. Here is our roundup for March.

Education Policy Institute

The Education Policy Institute is inviting trusts and other school groups to sign-up to a new longitudinal survey called the EPI DEEP survey (Decisions in Education in England Panel survey). The anticipated White Paper is likely to clarify the government's position on expanding trusts and academies, and this anonymous bi-annual survey is crucial to identifying why and how the most effective school groups achieve their results, and where others can improve.

It will survey group-level leaders and school-level leaders from trusts, local authorities, dioceses and other groups to collect data on a range of educational practices, including the degree of centralisation across specific areas, budget and staffing decisions, policies and practices relating to curriculum and admissions. The group-level survey lasts about 10-15 minutes, and the school-level about 25 minutes. To register your interest, please provide your school group’s details below.

T4 Education

T4 Education, exists to support teachers and schools as agents of change. In the two years since they formed, they have developed a global community of educators, 200,000+ strong (and growing). It is their view that too often system leaders seek to develop education policy, without listening to the key people that matter, teachers! So, they have developed the T4 Insights Panel as a means of ensuring teachers and educators, can consistently share their opinions and views, to help inform:

  • Education policy
  • Thought leadership
  • Product development.
