ImpactEd have just released a second interim report from their national research: Lockdown lessons: pupil learning and wellbeing during the Covid-19 pandemic. This report collates findings from more than 11,000 young people on their experience during lockdown.
They report that:
- Young people were positive about returning to school, but with a gender divide
- Overall pupil mental wellbeing has remained relatively stable throughout lockdown
- Disadvantage is associated with lower reported persistence with learning and wellbeing levels
