Wade Deacon Trust, established in 2012 and based at Wade Deacon High School in Widnes, is a medium-sized multi-academy trust comprising ten primary and secondary academies across the Merseyside City Region. The Trust serves around 6,100 pupils in Halton, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens and the surrounding areas, with provision that also includes specialist support.

Guided by its vision of “A Commitment to Excellence,” the Trust is dedicated to delivering exceptional education that transforms lives and strengthens communities. Its work is built on collaboration, innovation and evidence-informed practice, ensuring that high-quality teaching, leadership and inclusive approaches are embedded across all schools.
